Things I have learned:
- Keep the slurry a creamy consistency. You want it to CLING to the rocks.
- Vibratory tumblers are most successful on rocks where the shape does not have to be changed a great deal or on rocks which have been previously sawed or shaped.
- Too much water in a vibratory tumbler can end in result to the barrel.
- When adding grit. remember that if the rocks are wet, it's going to add a significant amount of moisture to the slurry.
